Welcome to the WWE Raw results for the Monday, November 21 episode. The latest installment of the weekly pro wrestling program came from Toronto, Canada, just one night after the 2016 Survivor Series pay-per-view. Amongst the superstars featured on the latest episode were Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Bayley, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and Goldberg. Below are the quick match-by-match highlights and WWE Raw results for the latest show.
Goldberg announced his entry into the 2017 Royal Rumble. Goldberg said he made the decision after a conversation with Stephanie McMahon to enter into a title run which starts with the Royal Rumble. He is now the first entry into the match.
Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson defeated Golden Truth via pinfall. Gallows and Anderson hit Magic Killer on Goldust for the win and earned themselves a tag team title shot against New Day in a week’s time.
Rusev defeated Enzo by submission. After an earlier backstage incident where a naked Enzo bumped into Lana, Rusev defended his wife’s honor by crushing Enzo. He put on The Accolade to quickly make Enzo tap.
Sasha Banks & Bayley defeated Charlotte & Nia Jax via submission. The match was set up when Sasha confronted Charlotte in the ring for a title rematch, and Nia Jax interrupted to call out Sasha’s Survivor Series performance. Bayley rushed down to make a save, and a tag match ensued. In the match, Sasha was able to grab Charlotte into the Bank statement to make her tap out.
Rich Swann defeated TJ Perkins and Noam Dar via pinfall to become No. 1 contender for the Cruiserweight title. The three Cruiserweights met in a match to determine a new #1 contender for Brian Kendrick’s title. Some great back and forth action in this one with the champion watching on from the commentary spot. Swann was able to capture the win late with a roundhouse kick on TJ Perkins to get the pinfall. Swann will face Kendrick for the title on the new “205 Live” show.
Kevin Owens defeated Seth Rollins via pinfall to retain the WWE Universal Championship in a No DQ match. Earlier in the night, Mick Foley booked Seth Rollins to face Kevin Owens for the title in a no disqualification match. He also banned Roman Reigns and Chris Jericho from ringside for the match. However, as the match spilled outside the ring and into the crowd, things get intense. Rollins landed a huge flying move from off the stands area near one of the arena entrances to take out Owens. Later, he went after Owens after tossing him back over the crowd barricade.
A masked man emerged from the crowd behind Rollins as he was up on the barrier and shoved him down, then punched away on him. Rollins managed to rip the guy’s mask off, revealing Chris Jericho. Jericho tried to jump at Rollins but got kicked down. Owens took advantage by hitting a Super Kick and then powerbombing Rollins on the apron. From there, he tossed Rollins into the ring for the pinfall win.
