Welcome to the latest WWE Raw results for the Monday, November 14, 2016, episode. The weekly pro wrestling program was held at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. This episode featured buildup towards Survivor Series 2016 and included a variety of different matches to prepare Raw’s superstars for the event. Among the superstars in action were Seth Rollins, Sheamus, Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Here are the updated results for the latest episode of WWE Raw.
Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon called out the roster to start the show. They talked up the importance of working together and representing the Raw brand on Sunday. She said there would be serious changes if they failed to perform adequately at Survivor Series. In order to prepare them, Stephanie and Mick booked some different pairings for matches on the upcoming Raw show including Kevin Owens teaming with Roman Reigns to battle Cesaro and Sheamus.
Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns defeated Sheamus and Cesaro via pinfall. Towards the end of the contest, Reigns gained control and set up for a Spear. However, Kevin Owens tagged him before he could complete the move. The two argued a bit near the corner. Sheamus hit a Brogue Kick on Owens but Reigns hit the Spear on Sheamus, then put Owens on top of Sheamus for the win.
Sami Zayn defeated Bo Dallas via pinfall. The match went a bit over two minutes but Zayn eventually put Bo away using a Helluva Kick. Post-match, Zayn said no matter who he faces for the IC title on Sunday, he’s bringing the title back to Raw.
Seth Rollins, Chris Jericho and Braun Strowman defeated New Day via pinfall in a six-man tag match. During the match, tensions were still heavy between the Raw men’s teammates. Jericho used a chop tag to tag in Rollins or Strowman at different points of the match. Towards the end, Jericho had a Walls of Jericho but Woods rolled it into an inside cradle pin for a near fall. Jericho was able to kick Woods down and then tagged in Strowman who hit a running power slam for the win. Post-match, Jericho proclaimed to Rollins that he is Team Raw’s captain. Rollins hit a Pedigree on Jericho and left the ring with Strowman following.
They had a backstage segment with Paul Heyman visiting the backstage area to talk to Stephanie and Foley. Foley said he wanted enough security at Raw tonight to make sure the Goldberg and Lesnar meeting takes place as planned.
Charlotte was shown backstage talking to Sasha about how she’s captain of the team and needs to get along with her teammates. Sasha said she’s not the only person who doesn’t like her. Charlotte suggested Sasha is still jealous of her. Sasha reminded her she’s got a rematch but on Sunday it’s about proving they’re the better team.
Brian Kendrick defeated Sin Cara via submission in a non-title match. After a break, Kendrick had control of things. Later on, Kendrick had the advantage with Cara’s mask twisted on his face so he locked the Captain’s Hook to get the win.
They had the in-ring meeting involving Goldberg and Brock Lesnar. While both men were in the ring along with Paul Heyman and security, Heyman kept trying to talk but Goldberg told him to shut up. He said it’s about him and Brock. He said to get the “rent-a-cops out of the ring so the only real men in the ring can get it on.” He also warned Heyman that if he brings up his family again he’d rip his head off and feed it to Lesnar. Heyman said he had an offer for Goldberg.
He told him that he could buy a gift card to the WWE Network for Goldberg’s son so he can watch Brock do his thing. Goldberg ripped off his shirt. Heyman told him his client is a violent beast and Goldberg is getting too agitated in front of him. He said Goldberg will be beaten, victim and conquered by Lesnar and his son will call him “daddy.” Goldberg beat up some security guards as Heyman left the ring. Brock stood on the apron. Once all of security was gone, Lesnar tore his shirt off and teased getting in the ring. Brock dropped off instead, drawing boos. Goldberg’s music played out the segment as he wiped his brow with a torn t-shirt and then threw it at Heyman and Brock.
Sasha Banks and Charlotte defeated Nia Jax and Alicia Fox via submission. Sasha and Charlotte got into a physical altercation in part of the match, throwing forearms at each other and getting knocked down. Later, Sasha was able use the Bank Statement on Alicia Fox for the win. Post-match, Bayley got in the ring and raised Charlotte and Sasha’s arms. She gave Sasha a hug and offered Charlotte one, but was denied.
Enzo Amore, Big Cass, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson beat The Shining Stars, Goldust, and R-Truth via pinfall. Late in this contest, Anderson and Gallows looked like they were going to let Enzo and Cass hit the finisher. Instead, Gallows pinned one of the Shining Stars to claim the win for his team.
The final segment of Raw featured Stephanie and Mick Foley in the ring when Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan of SmackDown came down to join them. They bantered over who has the better show. Stephanie started saying that Shane is all about his ego and pride. Eventually, she and Mick left the ring as Team Raw headed down. Shane and Bryan announced they wouldn’t show up alone. Members of Team SmackDown started to come out of the crowd.
Verbal banter ensued between the various members of the two teams. It started with Owens and Styles going at it, and Jericho getting involved. He pointed out Ellsworth and asked what that was, and said someone forgot their kid at ringside. He put Ellsworth on the list. Bray chastised Strowman as the monster he helped create and said they’d put him down at Survivor Series. Orton stood forward along with Wyatt. Rollins and Reigns trash talked Shane and then Ambrose got involved. He threw a punch at Rollins to start things off between the two teams.
One spot saw Shane clothesline Strowman out of the ring and another saw Ambrose hit a suicide dive out onto Rollins. Reigns was able to hit Orton with a Superman Punch and then another on Wyatt. Eventually Rollins and Reigns were the two guys left in the ring after everyone else got cleared out. Team Raw stood tall to close the show as the commentators hyped Sunday’s PPV.
