WWE Raw Results 06/12/17 for Lafayette, Louisiana Episode

Welcome to the WWE Raw results for the Monday, June 12th, 2017 episode on USA. The latest installment featured the return of Universal Champion Brock Lesnar to the show to confront Samoa Joe. Also, The Hardy Boyz would have a rematch for the WWE Raw Tag Team titles. Below are all of the latest results for the Raw episode at Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana.

wwe brock lesnarHeyman and Lesnar started the show off with Heyman saying Brock was back to avenge what Samoa Joe did last week. Heyman talked about Joe not being man enough to be able to get the Coquina Clutch on Lesnar. He also compared him to all the other Samoans in WWE history and said Joe is nothing like them in their accomplishments. Eventually, Joe’s music hit and he came to the ring. Heyman left with Brock’s title belt, and Joe went face-to-face with Brock in the ring. The two got into a huge brawl, trading shots. Eventually, Kurt Angle sent security guards down. When they got knocked out of the ring, a whole bunch of superstars from the back had to come to the ring and separate the two superstars. A “This is Awesome” chant hit before Raw went to break.

Elias Samson defeated Dean Ambrose via pinfall. The Miz and Maryse arrived at ringside. Ambrose got distracted and went after Miz at ringside. The distraction ultimately helped Samson capture the win after double knees and a finishing move to plant Ambrose on the mat.

Backstage, Angle yelled at Miz for what he just did. Miz told Angle he needs to suspend Dean Ambrose or something and do his job. Angle told Miz he will never speak to him that way again. He said if Miz has a problem with Ambrose to do something about it himself. Angle walked off with Miz looking shocked.

Cedric Alexander defeated Noam Dar via pinfall. Dar came to the ring with a cellphone in hand, with Alicia Fox live video chatting him on it. She was shown on the screen on stage too. Dar kept talking to her in the corner of the ring as the ref told him he needed to start the match. Eventually Dar put the phone down, and Alexander grabbed him to hit a quick move bringing him across his knees and pinning him fast.

Next week on Raw, Roman Reigns will announce his plans for the WWE Summerslam PPV.

Bray Wyatt appeared in a promo on the screen, talking about the world ending and collapsing under the weight of its own sin. Wyatt said he’s the only one who can save them and held up his lantern saying “I’m here.” He blew out the lantern and made his entrance to the ring. Bray continued his promo in the ring saying “he who blasphemes his name will be punished” and brought up Seth Rollins. He said he brought down Rollins’ glass house down last week with his truth so now Seth will be picking up shards of glass from his soul for eternity.

Rollins’ music hit eventually and he came to the ring to confront Bray about how easily he got under his skin. He told him it wasn’t blasphemy it was the truth. Rollins said if Bray’s got a problem with that he’s there in the ring with him now. Wyatt laughed it off saying he’s too powerful for him and Rollins doesn’t want this fight. Wyatt’s sound effect hit and the lights went out. When they returned, Bray was gone from the ring. Rollins looked around for him and Bray showed up on the big screen. He finished his promo saying Seth will face his fear and told him “Run.”

The Hardy Boyz were interviewed backstage about their upcoming title rematch against Sheamus and Cesaro.

Apollo Crews defeated Kalisto via pinfall. Titus O’Neil shook hands with Akira Tozawa who had a front row seat courtesy of the “Titus Brand.” In the match, Crews won in just over two minutes using a sit-out power bomb for the pinfall.

There was a backstage segment where The Miz recruited Heath Slater to his entourage since he helped make him a star in The Marine 5. Rhyno took exception saying Slater’s already got a partner. Slater talked to Miz about wanting to be the IC champion growing up so Miz said if he joined him he’d make sure he got a title shot. Rhyno told Miz to go find a tag team partner because they were going to have a match later.

There was a segment with Alexa Bliss coming to the ring to say she should have had a celebration last week but was forced to defend her title instead. Nia Jax interrupted by coming to the ring, saying Alexa had promised her a title match before, and now she’s saying she was forced into it. Bliss lied that she’d been looking forward to her title match against Nia Jax last week but it was interrupted by Mickie James and Dana Brooke. The eventually came to the ring to get involved as did Emma who said now that she is there, she will take her spot at the top of the division. Sasha Banks made an entrance and said she’d show Alexa how the boss throws a party. A brawl broke out leading to a six-woman tag match.

Sasha Banks, Mickie James and Dana Brooke defeated Alexa Bliss, Emma and Nia Jax via pinfall. The match went just 3-1/2 minutes. Towards the end James hit a move off the top rope onto Nia Jax on the outside. In the ring, Sasha Banks put the Bank Statement on Emma to make her tap out. Post-match, Bliss and Sasha stared at one another.

There was a sit-down interview with Corey Graves talking to Bayley about her inability to get extreme and asking her what the future holds. She said she is staying true to who she is and wants to be the best. She wants to enter WrestleMania next year as champion to to send a message to fans and little girls that “dreams can come true.” She closed by asking Graves for a hug and he obliged but it was awkward.

Heath Slater and Rhyno defeated The Miz and a guy wearing a bear suit. Miz’s partner was someone wearing a bear suit for the match. Late in the match, Miz suspected the bear was Ambrose so he attacked it and ran it into the barricade. When he took the mask off the bear, it wasn’t Ambrose. Miz got back in the ring and another masked bear entered. It kicked Slater and hit Dirty Deeds. Maryse tried to warn Miz about it as the bear unmasked it was Dean Ambrose. Miz accidentally knocked Maryse off the apron, who seemed hurt and went up the ramp. As Miz turned around, Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds on him and placed Slater over him for the pinfall.

Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson defeated Enzo Amore & Big Cass via pinfall. When Cass and Enzo came out, Cass was holding his head with one hand while shoving away refs with the other. During the match he seemed to have a hard time keeping his balance. Gallows and Anderson eventually won with Magic Killer. Post-match, Gallows and Anderson went after Enzo but Big Show’s music hit and he came to the ring to chase them off. Show helped up Enzo, and Cass got up to glare at Show until he left. Enzo tried to explain what was up to Cass who seemed upset over it.

Backstage, Enzo asked Show if he was the one who attacked Cass backstage. Show said it’s probably Cass who wanted to know and called him soft.

Sheamus & Cesaro fought Matt & Jeff Hardy to a 1-1 finish in a 2-of-3 Falls match for the Raw tag team titles. Early on in the match, Sheamus managed to catch Jeff with a kick to the chest as Jeff was trying to get up on the top rope. That gave Sheamus/Cesaro a pinfall for a 1-0 lead. It wasn’t until about 9 minutes in, that Matt hit Twist of Fate on Cesaro to tie things up at 1-1 in the match. At 13:30, Jeff Hardy hit a Swanton onto Sheamus for a pinfall, but Cesaro yanked Sheamus out of the ring to break it. Both teams fought outside the ring, and the referee counted them both out. Jeff ended up diving out onto Sheamus and Cesaro. The Hardys riled up the crowd but champions got their title belts back as it was a 1-1 finish.
