Angle announced a Fatal 5-Way match for Extreme Rules to determine No. 1 contender for the Universal title. The competitors are Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt and Samoa Joe. Each of them came out to speak their piece. It eventually led to a brawl with Rollins getting the best of Samoa Joe, and then Finn Balor getting a big move to stand tall in the ring.

Ambrose blocked the attempted and then kicked Miz below the belt, causing the ref to call for a DQ.
Alexa Bliss came to the ring and talked up how she is a Goddess and that she knows the fans there are wondering what it’s like to be a winner. She said when you’re smarter and more dominant than everyone else, winning becomes easy. Bayley came out and congratulated Bliss for doing what she said she would. Bayley then said she’s using her rematch clause at Extreme Rules. Bliss told her she doesn’t know how to get extreme. They got into a fight with Bliss getting the upper hand and going under the ring to get a kendo stick. She hit Bayley with it once to leave her laid out.
Neville & TJ Perkins defeated Austin Aries and Jack Gallagher via pinfall. Late in the match, Neville grabbed Gallagher’s leg to prevent a running drop-kick move. Aries was able to take out Neville on the floor, but Perkins took advantage of the commotion and hit the Detonation Kick on Gallagher for the win.
Bayley was being treated backstage after the kendo stick shot from Alexa out in the ring. Kurt Angle showed up and said he’d have Bayley fight in a regular match at Extreme Rules for the title. Bayley told him she wants her shot at revenge. Angle liked hearing that and booked a Kendo Stick on a Pole match for the title at Extreme Rules PPV.
They had a backstage segment with R-Truth apologizing to Goldust for losing them the No. 1 contender spot in the tag team match last week. Goldust shrugged it off saying they’ll claw, dig, and crawl back to the top. Goldust got Truth fired up before they would head out for a match.

Bray Wyatt had a promo on the big screen about his match with Rollins for later, asking if the King Slayer would have enough to slay him or simply rely on his gutless instincts and run.
Backstage, Seth Rollins was interviewed by Charley Caruso. He said Wyatt won’t be the guy standing in his way of the Universal title and his actions will speak loud and clear.
Golden Truth made their entrance to Truth’s “What’s Up” rap song. Once inside the ring, Truth told the crowd to make some noise and did the “what’s up?” call out. Suddenly, Goldust attacked him from behind. He continued to kick away at Truth, and then attacked some more outside the ring. Goldust picked up the mic and said “That’s what’s up” to finish the segment.
Big Cass defeated Titus O’Neil via pinfall. Apollo Crews and Enzo Amore were ringside. Cass got a quick win in about a minute by delivering a big boot to Titus’ head for the pinfall. Post-match, Enzo grabbed a phone to take a selfie. Apollo Crews took exception to that and hit a jumping kick to take out Enzo.
Seth Rollins defeated Bray Wyatt due to disqualification. The match lasted 14 minutes. Towards the end, Wyatt went for Sister Abigail but Rollins rolled him up for a near fall and then hit a super kick. Rollins hit the Falcon Arrow for a two count. He went to the top rope to dive out on Bray on the outside a bit later. Samoa Joe came running out and suddenly attacked Rollins from behind which resulted in a DQ. Post-match, Wyatt and Joe looked at one another then began to attack Rollins together. Wyatt turned the tables on Joe by grabbing him to hit Sister Abigail. Wyatt hit another Sister Abigail on Rollins, then yelled “Follow the Buzzards” before Raw went off TV.
