Welcome to the WWE Raw results for the Monday, February 13, 2017 episode. This week’s installment comes from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Among the featured superstars in action were Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, Mark Henry, Jack Gallagher, Noam Dar, and a Women’s Championship Match involving Bayley taking on Charlotte. Below are all of the latest WWE Raw results for the Las Vegas, Nevada episode.
Stephanie McMahon came out to start the show and said Mick Foley was out this week due to being tired, overworked, and embarrassing himself during Samoa Joe’s contract sighing. She said she’s running Raw tonight. Roman Reigns came to the ring to interrupt, saying he isn’t waiting until Fastlane, he wants Braun Strowman tonight. She said Reigns will wait until Fastlane to face Strowman since Braun is booked to face Mark Henry tonight. Reigns suggested he might come to ringside for it. Steph threatened to take away his Fastlane match and role at WrestleMania. Reigns got serious saying he doesn’t think she understands him.
Just then, Gallows and Anderson came out saying they couldn’t listen to Reigns disrespect Stephanie any longer. Gallows suggested they face Reigns in a handicap match and Stephanie said in honor of Teddy Long “I think we have a match playa.”
Roman Reigns defeated Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson due to disqualification. During the match, Reigns hit a Superman Punch on Anderson. Gallows distracted Reigns to prevent him from hitting the spear for the finish. Anderson and Gallows kept beating up on Reigns, ignoring the ref’s warnings. They were eventually disqualified. The duo set up for Magic Killer, but Reigns fought out and ended up clearing both men from the ring.
Kofi Kingston defeated Bo Dallas via pinfall. Early on, Kofi flipped over the top rope to take out Dallas on the outside. Back in the ring, Bo attacked Kofi when he returned and hit a neck breaker for a near fall. Kofi came back and hit Trouble in Paradise for the win.
Jack Gallagher defeated Noam Dar. Late in the match, Dar was in control but Gallagher hit multiple dropkicks. He followed with a big headbutt and a dropkick in the corner then made the pinfall cover for the win. Post-match, Neville came out on the ramp and stared down to the ring at Gallagher as he raised up the Cruiserweight belt.
A limo pulled up in the back lot of the arena. Samoa Joe got out from the back passenger door and Triple H walked around from the opposite side. The two made their way towards the arena.
Emmalina finally made her official debut and came out to a new entrance. She arrived on stage in a glittery dress and waited out cheers before speaking on the mic. She told the fans they were good and waited 17 weeks to see the makeover of Emma to Emmalina. She said now it was time for the makeover of Emmalina to Emma. She turned around and walked backstage to finish the promo with fans booing.
Backstage, Jericho hyped up the Festival of Friends to Kevin Owens. Triple H showed up and offered both guys handshakes. He asked if they could talk for a moment. Owens and Jericho both said sure, but HHH said only Owens. Owens walked off with Triple H as Jericho stood by.
Braun Strowman defeated Mark Henry via pinfall. Henry gained control of things lately and started to pick up Strowman for World’s Strongest Slam. Strowman shifted his weight to fall on top of Henry instead. After getting the pinfall win, Roman Reigns’ music hit and he came down to the ring. Reigns stared at Strowman and got on the apron but Braun rammed him causing Reigns to fall to the outside and regroup. Reigns recollected himself a bit and then went back in the ring. He was able to hit two Superman Punches and caused Strowman to drop to a knee. Reigns set up for the spear, but Strowman was able to prevent it and hit a running powerslam to lay out Reigns.
Michael Cole had an exclusive interview with Samoa Joe backstage. Cole asked about why Triple H selected him when he did. Joe said his results on NXT speak for themselves, and he’s shown that nobody can stand toe to toe with him. Cole said some people think Triple H brought Joe in because he’s scared of Seth Rollins. Joe said HHH doesn’t have to justify himself to anyone. Cole asked Joe what he felt about the other guys HHH selected in the past such as Shawn Michaels, Batista, Randy Orton, and Seth Rollins. He said HHH’s relationships with those guys all went sour. Joe said he’s someone HHH can rely on because he knows what’s best for business. He said anyone who gets in his way will learn “why the creator unleashed the destroyer.”
Sami Zayn defeated Rusev via pinfall. Lana was ringside for the match. Towards the end, Rusev charged at Zayn in the corner with Sami moving aside. Rusev fell to the outside with Cole making it seem he hit his broken nose on the turnbuckle. Zayn waited on the apron but Rusev regained control after yanking Zayn down to the floor. Rusev threw Sami back in the ring, but as Rusev went to get back in, Zayn hit the Helluva Kick and got the pinfall win. Post-match, Charley Caruso interviewed Sami Zayn up on stage. During the interview, Zayn brought up a comment Samoa Joe made about him being “no Sami Zayn.” Sami said that’s right because he doesn’t clean up messes for others or do what he’s told to do or sell out. Samoa Joe’s music hit and Sami looked towards backstage. Instead, Joe came out from a different spot and blindsided him with an attack. Joe beat up Zayn repeatedly and then put him into the Coquina Clutch yelling at Sami to say his name. He told him “If you say my name, you put respect on it.”
Akira Towaza defeated Ariya Daivari via pinfall. Austin Aries was on commentary with Brian Kendrick as their guest. Late in the bout, Daivari hit a nice clothesline for a two count. Tozawa regained control and hit a Frankensteiner. With Daivari on the outside, Tozawa did a suicide dive and then rolled Daivari back into the ring. Moments later, Tozawa hit a wicked German Suplex for a three count. Post-match, Kendrick stood up from his commentary spot on stage to applaud his “protege” on the win. Towaza seemed oblivious to it all as he celebrated in the ring.
Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens’ Festival of Friendship – A Titantron video came on with Jericho welcoming everyone to the Festival of Friendship. A group of six Vegas showgirls came out to line alongside the stage. Jericho arrived out and welcomed fans to the festival again before introducing his friend Kevin Owens. Owens came out in a halfhearted manner seeming like he wasn’t too into it all. Showgirls accompanied Jericho to the ring and Owens followed behind sort of reluctantly. The ring was decked out in red and a Festival of Friendship sign and TV monitor.
Jericho had a statue revealed that shows how they are intertwined as friends. Owens questioned what it was. Jericho said it cost him $7,000 to have done which surprised Owens, but he called it a “steal.” Jericho unveiled a painting showing off Jericho and Owens in a historical recreation which he called “The Creation of Kevin.” Owens said he has two kids and can’t have them see this hanging in his house.
Jericho had “Friendship the Magician” come into the ring and do some tricks including lighting something on fire and turning it into a rose. Owens said his 9-year-old has a magic kit and can do the same trick. Jericho agreed that the trick sucked and added the magician’s name to the list before telling him to get out of the ring. Jericho said he has another gift, he wants to make sure Goldberg doesn’t even make it to the ring for the Fastlane title match. He called Goldberg out just before Raw went to break.
When Raw returned, Owens and Jericho were still waiting for Goldberg. His music hit and fans anticipated his arrival out from backstage. Instead, Gillberg arrived out with sparklers going off around him. WWE crew sprayed him with fire extinguishers and Gillberg acted disoriented as he stumbled down the ramp. Owens angrily left the ring and stormed up the ramp to attack Gillberg. He tossed him into the side of the ring then got back in the ring complaining about all of this.
Jericho apologized for that and said all the gifts and everything were just because he wanted to show his appreciation. He thanked Owens for all he’s done with him over the past year. Jericho talked up their chemistry and how he’s one of the best people he’s ever teamed up with. Owens told Jericho “I love you too” and gave him a hug. He said he had something for Jericho too and retrieved a gift box from ringside. Jericho opened it up and inside was a new list. Jericho said it was perfect. He looked at it closer and asked why his name was on there. He held up the list and the back of it said “List of KO.” Jericho turned to see Owens just as he attacked him.
Owens kept up the attack inside and outside the ring, beating up Jericho and tossing him around. Owens got into the ring and tossed the painting out of the ring. He went back outside and threw Jericho into the timekeepers area, and then into the side of the ring. Back in the ring, Owens tossed Jericho head-first into the TV monitor, smashing the screen. With Jericho down on the mat and refs checking on him, Owens picked up his Universal title and left the ring up the ramp.
After commercial, the commentary team reviewed what just went down. Cameras showed Jericho being loaded into an ambulance on a stretcher and the ambulance leaving for the hospital.
Cesaro defeated Enzo Amore via pinfall. Post-match, Sheamus got in the r ing to celebrate Cesaro’s win and stood over Enzo talking trash at him. Cass got in the ring and shoved Sheamus a bit so Sheamus shoved back. Cesaro held Sheamus back as he continued jawing at Cass across the ring.
Backstage, Charlotte was walking with her championship belt to head out for the main event match. She came up to Sasha Banks and said she should have her banned for decreasing morale around WWE. Sasha talked trash back saying she might just shut her mouth anytime anyplace. Charlotte told her to sit back and watch as she does something in the ring Sasha can’t: win.
Bayley defeated Charlotte via pinfall to win the WWE Raw Women’s Championship. Late in the match, Charlotte had control on the outside and delivered a big boot into Bayley’s neck to send Bayley into the barricade. Charlotte taunted some fans, then stood up on the barricade and hit her reverse moonsault to land on Bayley on the outside. Back in the ring, Charlotte kept up the attack with Bayley able to start fighting back some. At one point, the two women collided on double cross body attempts from running the ropes.
Later on, Bayley had some momentum and managed to take it to Charlotte, landing a Frankensteiner off the corner. The two kept at it with Bayley in control of things. Suddenly, Dana Brooke rushed down to the ringside area and hopped on the apron. Bayley rushed over and knocked Dana off the apron. That allowed Charlotte to attack from behind but Bayley recovered and fought her off. She managed to lock a Figure Four leglock onto Charlotte and kept it locked in. The ref dropped to the mat to check if Charlotte was quitting. Dana came over when the ref was looking away and raked Bayley in the eye allowing Charlotte to escape the hold.
Bayley got up but was holding her eye as she stumbled forward searching for Charlotte. The champ gained control due to Bayley being poked near the eye and put her into the Figure Eight. Bayley fought to not submit. Suddenly, the crowd cheered as Sasha Banks rushed to the ringside area and hit Dana Brooke with her crutch to knock her down. Sasha went around the side of the ring and jabbed Charlotte with her crutch without the ref seeing. Charlotte released the hold and held her throat. Since she was stunned, it allowed Bayley to grab Charlotte and hit a Bayley to Belly Suplex to win the title.
Post-match, Sasha applauded Bayley and left the ring for Bayley to celebrate. Bayley went outside and hugged or slapped hands with fans around the ringside area and then went into the crowd. The show closed out with Bayley back in the ring holding up her new title.
