Welcome to the WWE Elimination Chamber 2017 results. The latest pay-per-view is a SmackDown exclusive event and arrives from Phoenix, Arizona. Among the big matches on the card will be Alexa Bliss defending the Women’s title against Naomi, American Alpha defending the tag titles in a tag team turmoil match, and John Cena defending the World Heavyweight title inside the Elimination Chamber. Who will emerge as tonight’s big winners? All of the latest results are listed below.
Elimination Chamber Kickoff Show
Sam Roberts joined Booker T and Renee Young for the latest panel which included discussion of the upcoming matches and their predictions for winners. Carmella stopped by during the panel to sit next to Roberts and text James Ellsworth to do things for her.
Mojo Rawley defeated Curt Hawkins via pinfall. Late in the contest, Rawley had control and put Hawkins on his shoulder, then dropped him face-first for a near fall. Moments later, Hawkins dropped Rawley with a flapjack slam for a near fall of his own. Later, Rawley avoided a charging Hawkins and then delivered a big right hook on him in the corner. He followed with a spinning side slam for the pinfall win.
The panel wrapped up by giving their picks for the chamber match. Booker went with AJ Styles and Sam Roberts chose The Miz to win it.
Elimination Chamber PPV Results
Becky Lynch defeated Mickie James via pinfall. Mickie dominated for most of the match after exploiting a left arm injury at one point. Mickie went for a move off the corner and connected but Becky escaped the pinfall. Becky hit a big move of her own with Mickie escaping the pinfall. The finish saw Becky try to put the Disarmer on Mickie but James rolled her up for a pinfall attempt. Becky rolled through it and pinned Mickie instead.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Apollo Crews & Kalisto – 2-on-1 Handicap Match – As Kalisto was making his entrance, Ziggler rushed him and attacked from behind on the ramp. Dolph threw Kalisto into the stage graphics sign, causing WWE refs and medical personnel having to check on him. Crews ended up having to take on Dolph by himself. Ziggler gained control of Crews after a while but Kalisto started to come down the ramp holding his back. Crews hit a big enziguiri kick to drop Ziggler as Kalisto started pulling himself into the ring. Kalisto tagged into the match and hit a bunch of quick offense. Dolph shoved him towards Crews who slapped Kalisto’s back for the blind tag. Crews followed with a huge sit out powerslam for the pinfall win.
Post-match, Ziggler yanked out Kalisto’s legs causing him to fall to the outside. Ziggler grabbed a steel chair and lured Crews to chase him into the ring. After beating down Crews, he put the chair around Crews’ left foot and then stomped on the chair. Crews cried in pain. Ziggler grabbed him and put the chair on his ankle again for another stomp.
American Alpha defeated The Ascension via pinfall to win the Tag Team Turmoil Match. The match featured Alpha defending the titles against fellow tag teams Rhyno and Slater, The Ascension, Vaudevillains, The Usos, and Breezeango. Slater and Rhyno started against Breezeango. Slater and Fandango fought for a while until Slater got a blind tag from Rhyno. Fandango didn’t see as Rhyno set up and hit a Gore for the pinfall elimination. Next up, Vaudevillains came to the ring and quickly took control after tossing Rhyno into the crowd barricade. Slater and Rhyno gained control of things though and Slater hit a DDT move to score the pinfall eliminating Vaudevillains. Usos came out as the next team. After some back and forth, Slater had a rollup and was sitting on the Uso but got superkicked by the other who made a blind tag to get in. That was good for the elimination of Slater and Rhyno.
American Alpha came out next and Usos rushed up the ramp for the two teams to start fighting. In the ring, Jason Jordan clotheslined one of the Usos out with him, while Gable hit a crossbody off the corner for a near fall. Gable managed to punch one Uso off the apron and then he and the other double clotheslined each other. Gable finally made the hot tag to Jordan, while Jey Uso also tagged in. Gable managed to hit a flip move to grab a winning pinfall to eliminate Usos. However, after getting eliminated The Usos superkicked Gable and beat up Jordan before beating them both up even more on the outside. They hit a Samoan Splash on Jordan in the ring.
The Ascension entered as the final tag team in the match and came to the ring with Alpha already beat up by Usos. They hit Fall of Man on Jordan and had the pinfall but Gable managed to get in and break it up. Ascension dropped him on the top rope and then out of the ring so they could isolate Jordan. Later on, Jordan escaped the heels to tag in Gable. Gable escaped an attack on the floor and slid into the ring to help Jordan hit the double team for the pinfall to win it.
Nikki Bella vs. Natalya ended in a double countout. Natalya dominated after managed to shove Nikki back first into the ringpost on the outside. Nattie kept on taunting Nikki’s mother and brother who were ringside as she beat up Nikki in the ring. Nikki managed to get an STF locked on at one point, but Nattie grabbed the ropes. Later, Nikki went to the top rope for a move but Nattie went up and landed a superplex to take her down. The two competitors ended up spilling to the outside at one point and attacking each other. They rammed each other into the barriers and then Nikki tossed Nattie into the barricade. The ref’s count reached 8 and Nikki went to rush to slide into the ring but Nattie grabbed her to stop her. Both women got back in the ring post-match with the referee telling Nattie what happened. Nikki tried to argue, but Nattie punched her down and beat her up a bit before leaving the ring. As Nattie was going up the ramp, Nikki chased her up and tackled her down. The ref pulled Nikki away and Nattie rushed backstage to escape.
Randy Orton defeated Luke Harper via pinfall. The match lasted over 17 minutes. After 15 minutes, Harper hit a sit-out power bomb for a near fall. Both guys got to their knees and started to trade punches, with fans cheering and booing it back and forth. Both men got to their feet for more back and forth strikes. Harper went for his discus clothesline, but Orton blocked and hit the RKO for the win.
Naomi defeated Alexa Bliss via pinfall to win the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship. Throughout the match, Alexa threw tantrums at the ref when she didn’t get the pinfall. At one point, she had the pin but had legs on the ropes and the ref caught her. Later in the bout, Alexa managed to knock down Naomi near the corner. Alexa went for her flip off the corner but Naomi got her knees up to block it. From there, Naomi went to the top and hit her own moonsault flip move onto Alexa to get the winning pinfall for the win.
Elimination Chamber – Dean Ambrose was introduced first, followed by Baron Corbin and The Miz. The final competitor put into a pod to start the match was Bray Wyatt. AJ Styles and John Cena were the two superstars who started off the match and went back and forth until another competitor was eventually released into the match.
Five of the six men got into the match with no eliminations. As the final countdown started, Corbin waited for Miz’s pod to release him into the match. Instead, Dean Ambrose rolled Corbin up to eliminate him. That caused Corbin to get angry and go after Ambrose. He ran him into one of the pods and broke it. Miz was still inside his pod. Corbin then hit End of Days on Ambrose. As Miz got into the match, he easily pinned Ambrose to eliminate him from the match. That left it with Cena, The Miz, AJ Styles and Bray Wyatt. After only being in the match for three minutes, Cena was able to roll through a cross body block from Miz and hit AA for the elimination.
Styles and Bray teamed up for a bit to beat up on Cena. He eventually escaped and climbed the cage wall a bit to jump onto the two heels. He went for an AA on Bray Wyatt, but Wyatt escaped and hit Sister Abigail to pin and eliminate Cena.
It came down to Styles vs. Wyatt. At one point, AJ had a 450 Splash for a very close near fall. AJ had control late and went for the Phenomenal Forearm off the side ropes, but Wyatt caught him and hit Sister Abigail to get the big pinfall win, claiming the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Post-match, Wyatt pointed at the WrestleMania sign as his theme music played on. Randy Orton came onto the ramp and stared down to the ring with the commentators questioning if Orton will face Wyatt at WrestleMania.
