Zack Ryder vs. Rusev (w/Lana) – US Championship

The Lavishing Lana was in the ring to introduce the US Champion aka her fiance Rusev. After his entrance, Ryder made his, wearing red, white and blue themed gear. Early on, Rusev took control for a bit. Ryder got in some moves and escaped the ring then rushed around the side and back in. As Rusev tried to get in, Ryder kicked him down. Back in the ring, Ryder got swatted off the corner on a dropkick attempt giving Rusev the edge again.

Ryder got control again and knocked Rusev down in one of the corners. He set up and went for a Broski boot but Rusev grabbed his leg to block it and hit Ryder down to the mat. He went for a suplex but Ryder countered into a neck breaker. Ryder followed with a Broski Boot in the middle of the ring for a near fall. Rusev rolled out of the ring and Ryder went after him but got suplexed onto the crowd barricade. The champ left Rusev laying on the barricade. With the ref counting him out, Rusev got into the ring for a few moments.

Rusev rushed out of the ring to try to smash into Ryder against the barricade. Ryder moved away and Ryder followed with a huge dropkick off the barricade. Back in the ring, Ryder had control and hit the Rough Ryder. He quickly went to the top rope for the Elbro Drop. Rusev got a knee up and Ryder came down with his elbow on it. From there, as Ryder got to his feet Rusev kicked him in the back and then put on The Accolade. Ryder fought against tapping out for a bit and seemed to be powering out of it.

Ryder looked like he was escaping the hold but Rusev grabbed it on tight and layed down on his back. Ryder soon tapped out giving Rusev the win. Post-match, he went for further punishment on Ryder but suddenly Mojo Rawley’s theme music hit and he came rushing to the ring. Mojo got in Rusev’s face and started getting hyped up. Rusev stood there without responding and then got out of the ring to leave up the ramp with Lana.

Winner: Rusev defeated Zack Ryder via submission to retain the US Championship.

Backstage, Mick Foley and Stephanie were talking about Bayley showing up at the pay-per-view. Seth Rollins came in to interrupt talking about how this could be the biggest night of his career. He talked about bringing the championship back to Raw for them as their top draft pick. After Rollins left, Foley joked to Stephanie that it was her choice to draft him first.

Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens

Zayn went for the Helluva Kick early on but Owens rolled to the outside. Zayn went after him and Owens got the upperhand, whipping Zayn into the barricade. Owens went back in the ring then outside for another move, but Zayn whipped him against the barricade near the timekeeper’s area. He followed with a big clothesline and tossed Owens back into the ring. Moments later, Zayn tried to walk the ropes but Owens crotched him and then followed with a big cannonball in the corner for a near fall.

Owens stayed in control and hit several big  moves on Zayn while he was down on the mat. The two traded suplex attempts with KO eventually getting one and dropping Zayn on the top rope. Later, Owens rushed at Zayn for a move but Sami scooped him up for a slam for a near fall. Owens rolled to the outside but Zayn prepared for the running dive. Owens quickly grabbed Zayn’s foot to prevent it and yanked him to the outside. Later still, Zayn got on the apron and was able to kick Owens away, then followed with a springboard spinning kick move. In the process, Zayn landed on his shoulder, appearing to tweak the previous injury he had.

Later in the match, Owens connected on a big superkick and had the near fall. Zayn got an arm up and Owens locked on a Crossface. Zayn struggled for a bit but eventually pulled himself to put his leg on the bottom rope to break it. Owens kept going after Zayn’s shoulder, but Zayn managed to recover and hit an Exploder Suplex on him in one corner. He set up for Helluva Kick but Owens got to the outside floor. A bit later, Owens tried for a big move with Zayn on the apron. Zayn blocked it and hit a suplex to drop Owens on his back on the apron. Both guys fell to the floor.

At one point, Owens was propped on the outside against the corner of the apron. Zayn went out to the opposite side and went for his running  dive through the ropes. Owens caught him with a big superkick. He returned to the ring for a cannonball and huge splash but the pin resulted in a very close near fall.

Owens hit his Pop Up Powerbomb and thought he had the pinfall. Zayn managed to barely get his foot under the bottom rope. A frustrated Owens attacked Zayn while he was down and yelled at him “why won’t you stay down?” as he slapped at him. Zayn taunted him for more, then finally slapped back. He stood up and hit an Exploder Suplex, then landed a Helluva Kick. Zayn held a limp Owens up for a bit then put him back in the corner and hit another Helluva Kick for the win.

Winner: Sami Zayn defeated Kevin Owens via pinfall.

Becky Lynch vs. Natalya

Natalya had a submission on Becky on the mat as Lynch tried to fight out. Natalya slammed her to the mat and showed off a bit. She slapped Becky down to the mat and worked on her legs, then taunted the crowd drawing boos. Later, she put another leg submission attempt on Becky but she fought back, hitting an enziguri. After the move, Becky was still favoring her hurt leg.

Later, she hit an exploder suplex for a near fall. Natalya went for a spinning clothesline moments later but Becky blocked. She went for a Disarm Her hold but Nattie blocked it and locked on a Sharpshooter. Becky eventually got to the ropes for the break. Becky got momentum and went up top to hit a missile dropkick for a near fall. After that, there was more back and forth but Nattie managed to get another Sharpshooter locked on for good. Becky was forced to tap out.

Post-match, Natalya rolled out of the ring and then posed on the ramp to celebrate.

Winner: Natalya defeated Becky Lynch via submission.

Dean Ambrose was shown backstage with his championship belt. Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan walked in saying they’d been looking all over for him. They hyped him up for his opponents tonight saying they don’t have the heart he does and that’s why he’s the WWE Champion and will walk out as the champ because he wants it most. Bryan said when he fought The Shield in the past they always focused on Ambrose instead of Rollins and Reigns because he was the best and that’s why they drafted him No. 1 to Smackdown. Ambrose got revved up and vowed he would walk out as champ.
