WrestleMania 32 Results Coverage Pt. 1 (Updated)

Welcome to WrestleMania 32 results coverage. Tonight’s event takes place at Dallas, Texas in the AT&T Stadium. It begins with the 5 p.m. ET Kickoff Show, and the main pay-per-view at 7 p.m. ET. WrestleMania 32 Kickoff Show

Renee Young, Booker T and Lita were on the panel for the pre-show. They discussed the various matches on the card for the PPV including the 7-man ladder match for Kevin Owen’s Intercontinental title, and the AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho feud. A video was shown of how their feud has evolved past their shortlived tag team assemblage.

The pre-show panel sent things down to commentary team of Mauro Ronallo, Byron Saxton and Jerry “The King” Lawler. United States champion Kalisto and challenger Ryback each made their entrances for the first matchup as the arena was still filling with fans ahead of the PPV.

Ryback vs. Kalisto – United States Championship Match

Early on, Ryback threw Kalisto out of the ring and then yelled at him about their size difference. He continued to take advantage, even after some strike attacks from the champ. Ryback was in full control after they took a break from the match. Kalisto eventually made a comeback hitting a DDT followed by the Hurracanrana on a kneeling Ryback. He hit a corkscrew elbow for the near fall, but then Ryback picked him up and threw him down in a spinebuster-like move. Moments later, Kalisto was able to recover and hit Salida del Sol to score a pinfall win.

Winner: Kalisto won via pinfall over Ryback to retain the WWE United States Championship.

10-Divas Tag Team Match: Total Divas vs. Team BAD & Blonde

Brie Bella, Eva Marie, Paige, Natalya and Alicia Fox took on Team BAD & Blonde – Naomi, Tamina, Lana, Summer Rae and Emma in this match on the pre-show. Early on, Alicia Fox took it to Summer Rae and was in control with Summer eventually able to escape. She got to her corner and asked for a timeout which ultimately led to all of the divas getting into the ring to jaw at one another. The commentators said the ref would try to restore order as they went to break. Late in the match, Paige was able to take out several of the opposing team’s divas by diving off the corner onto them. Lana came over to rally them to get back in the ring. Later, things came down to Brie taking on Naomi. Brie was able to get a Yes! Lock on Naomi who tried to fight her way out but ultimately tapped. Post-match, Nikki Bella came down the ramp in wrestling gear with her neck brace on. She hugged everyone in the ring and all the total divas celebrated with the fans.

Winners: Total Divas defeated Team BAD & Blonde via submission. Brie Bella with the Yes Lock on Naomi for the win.

The Uso Brothers vs. The Dudley Boyz

The match lasted just over five minutes. Jimmy was isolated for a while but finally managed to escape from the Dudleys to tag in Jey. Jey got hit by a top rope move including a Devon headbutt dive into his crotch. Moments later, the Dudleys looked like they might get the tables. Jimmy got a superkick to stop them, causing the crowd to boo. The Dudleys tried for a 3D but Jimmy cleared Bubba out of the ring and then Jey super kicked Devon. Jey took the pin on D-Von for the win. Post-match, Bubba got back in the ring and knocked the Usos down. The Dudleys again looked to use tables and set them up in ring. The Usos recovered and put Devon and Bubba on the tables instead then hit double splashes off the ring corners to crash through the Dudleys on the tables.

Winners: The Uso Brothers defeated The Dudley Boyz via pinfall.
