The Undertaker’s Wrestlemania 32 opponent rumors have recently popped up even though the big pay-per-view event isn’t until next year. As of right now, it seems WWE needs to come up with big plans as they have several key players missing from their roster, not to mention the fact The Undertaker gets a bit nearer to retirement with each match he works. His latest is expected to be a tag team match of some sort with Kane against The Wyatt Family at Survivor Series this November. However, he could have a big match on the way for WrestleMania 32 in Dallas, Texas.
Many wrestling sources including PWInsider are indicating that The Deadman will finally take on John Cena in a big match for the event. It’s reportedly been talked about by WWE for years now, but with the recent developments as far as Seth Rollins being sidelined for as much as nine months, it’s apparent WWE needs to get big matches in place for their biggest pay-per-view of the year. While Cena and Taker have worked together a while back during Cena’s rap gimmick and original U.S. champion run, they’ve not been involved in much as far as matches in more recent years or at pay-per-views.
It’s unknown if this would be a curtain call match for The Undertaker, but it would certainly be among the main events for the pay-per-view. WWE has reportedly been talking about a few other booking ideas they have for the PPV, but these have not been revealed via rumors or reports just yet. WrestleMania 32 is scheduled to take place on April 3, 2016 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.
