Welcome to WWE Smackdown results for the October 15, 2015 episode of the weekly pro wrestling show televised on SyFy channel. This week’s episode was taped at Cincinnati, Ohio. Among the superstars in action on the match card were Roman Reigns, Sheamus, King Barrett, Neville, Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler, Kevin Owens, Charlotte, Dudley Boyz, Dean Ambrose and New Day. Below are the match-by-match recaps and results from this latest Smackdown episode.

Roman Reigns defeated Bo Dallas via pinfall. Bo Dallas cut a promo ahead of the match talking about Reigns vs Wyatt at Hell in a Cell. He said Roman the only way he’ll leave the match is on a stretcher. At one point, Dallas begged for a timeout. He eventually offered Reigns a handshake, which Reigns took but then he kept his grip on Dallas’ hand. He pulled him in and hit a Samoan Drop. From there he hit the Superman punch followed by a Spear for the win.

Post-match, Reigns did a promo about his Hell in a cell Match but Bray came up on the big screen. He saw next Monday he’ll make a promise of some type, and then finished by saying “Anyone but you.”

King Barrett & Sheamus defeated Cesaro & Neville via pinfall. Late in the match, the ref was distracted by Sheamus and the Money in the Bank briefcase. Barrett hit a Bull Hammer on Cesaro and then Sheamus took the winning pinfall.

Kevin Owens defeated Zack Ryder via pinfall in a non-title match. Ryback was ringside during the bout. At one point, Ryder surprised Owens with double knees and a dropkick from the middle rope, but Owens responded by clotheslining him. From there, Owens mocked Ryback to taunt him a bit before hitting a Pop-up Powerbomb for the win. Post-match, Ryback tried to get in the ring to go after Owens post-match, but Owens fled to the outside to escape.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Rusev pinfall. Summer Rae was the special guest referee for the match. She ended up giving slow counts or no counts to Rusev and faster counts for Ziggler. Summer slapped Rusev at one point and then Dolph hit a Zig Zag for the win. Post-match, Summer said that Lana and Rusev did her and Dolph dirty. She asked Dolph if he’d take her and he said “No. When it comes to those kind of games, I’m not playing them.”

Braun Strowman and Luke Harper defeated Prime Time Players via submission. Harper had a headlock neck hold on Titus at one point of the match, but Titus suplexed him to escape. He tagged in D-Young who hit an apron neck breaker. Later, Young tried to punch Strowman but it did nothing. As Young turned back, Harper super kicked him. Strowman came in and put on the bear hug move to make Young pass out by Arm-Triangle choke submission.

Charlotte defeated Alicia Fox via submission in a non-title match. Becky Lynch was ringside for Charlotte while Nikki and Brie were there for Alicia. The match saw Charlotte win with a Figure Eight in about four minutes. Post-match, Team Bella started to beat down Charlotte and Becky. Paige ran out to make a save for her former PCB friends.

After break, they had a backstage segment with Paige saying she would make everything up to Becky and Charlotte. A short bit after, Natalya was found laid out in another room from an attack, presumably by Paige.

The Dudley Boyz & Dean Ambrose defeated New Day via disqualification. This match was the main event. The teams traded attacks for a while but eventually Xavier Woods’ trombone got involved and the bell was called for due to the DQ. New Day stood tall after delivering a beat down to Dudley Boyz to close out Smackdown.
