Who is Sasha Banks partner for WWE Battleground 2016?

Sasha Banks partner for the WWE Battleground 2016 pay-per-view is still a mystery, but a recent spoiler could have been revealed. Legions of professional wrestling fans are speculating over the possibilities of just who it may be to accompany “The Boss” to the ring for her big women’s tag team match on Sunday night. The bout will feature her current enemies, WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte and her protege Dana Brooke, but Sasha’s tag partner won’t be revealed until the match begins. So who is Sasha Banks’ partner for the Battleground match?

Some of the rumors have included Nikki Bella returning as a big surprise. The Bella Twins star and former Divas Champion was recently cleared by doctors to return to the ring and has posted various social media posts about it. However, the speculation is that she will be returning a bit later down the road than tonight’s show. Bella posted a picture of the WWE performance center, which may have been to throw off fans, but seems as if where she’ll spend the next month or so to get ready for the ring.

Other rumors first mentioned Paige, but it doesn’t seem she would make for much of a surprise. Paige was featured in a few matches with Charlotte over the past several months but has seemingly been out of the picture in terms of this feud lately. Other speculation has indicated that a new roster member from NXT such as Nia Jax, Alexa Bliss or Carmella would take the spot of Sasha’s partner.

WWE Battleground 2016 Spoiler:

However, a recent spoiler via PWInsider says that current NXT women’s wrestler Bayley is backstage at the Battleground pay-per-view and will appear in the match as Sasha Banks mystery partner. The two fought in what was billed as the best women’s match of 2015 as part of the NXT Takeover Brooklyn event.

Do you think Bayley will show up as Sasha Banks’ partner tonight or someone else? Who should it be in the tag match?
