When fans watch tonight’s live TV and online episode of WWE Raw on Monday, August 24th they’ll see the aftermath of an exciting, puzzling and entertaining SummerSlam pay-per-view. The event, held in Brooklyn, New York, featured two title changes and now a dual-champion in Seth Rollins. It also featured the return of Undertaker to the ring to avenge his loss at WrestleMania 30 against Brock Lesnar. What stories will be under the spotlight tonight? Let’s take a look at the live TV and online preview for tonight’s episode!
In the WWE SummerSlam 2015 results, the biggest stories of the night involved the “Title for Title” matchup and The Beast vs. The Deadman. In the earlier match, John Cena nearly had Seth Rollins defeated for both titles, that was until SummerSlam host Jon Stewart came down to interfere. Stewart ended up hitting Cena in the stomach with a chair and then Rollins hit the Pedigree for the win, capturing both titles. What will go down on Raw tonight? Will Stewart make an appearance to explain his actions and will The Authority grant a rematch?
The epic main event featured Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar in their rematch from last year’s WrestleMania. That was where fans shockingly saw “The Streak” ended by “The Beast.” For their storied careers, Lesnar has seemingly had Taker’s number, but during SummerSlam’s final match, things went differently. Did Taker tap out first with the ref not realizing it? Ultimately, Taker made Lesnar pass out in the Hell’s Gate hold, with the ref awarding the match to Undertaker. Paul Heyman, Brock and his fans were not happy to say the least. Will they demand a rematch on tonight’s Raw? Will Undertaker make an appearance?
We saw New Day recapture the tag titles in a Fatal Fourway match last night, leading to what many expect will be a rematch from Prime Time Players. Will it take place on tonight’s show? Will Dolph Ziggler get his hands on Rusev after their double countout last night?
Sheamus and Kevin Owens were also each victorious on Sunday night. Fans will look to see if Mr. Money in the Bank tries to cash in on Rollins when he’s not expecting it, and what will be next for Mr. Owens after a huge win over Cesaro prior to the SummerSlam main event.
WWE Raw will air for fans to watch live on TV or online starting at 8 p.m. EST Monday night. USA will show the live TV presentation, with the USA Now apps or site giving live online viewing to cable and satellite viewers who have USA as part of their package.
WWE fans what stories are you most looking forward to learning more about tonight? Jon Stewart-Cena-Rollins, or the Undertaker-Brock Lesnar feud?
