The latest WWE SummerSlam 2016 match odds have been made available for the upcoming pay-per-view. Just four matches are listed so far for the event odds, with tag team, United States and Intercontinental Championship matches not yet listed. However, there are odds for the big matches so far including the Brock Lesnar versus Randy Orton clash, Sasha Banks defending her Women’s title against Charlotte and the two major championship matches for Raw and SmackDown involving Finn Balor vs. Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler vs. Dean Ambrose.
First up, it’s Brock Lesnar taking on Randy Orton, which was the first of the matches that became announced for the WWE pay-per-view. Both guys are basically making a return to the ring of sorts. Orton has been out of action longer and Lesnar will be returning to the WWE ring following his UFC pay-per-view win. That said, “The Beast” has odds of -320 as the favorite, while Orton is a +240 underdog.
In the women’s championship rematch, Charlotte finds herself a +550 underdog, while Sasha is a huge favorite. Banks is listed at -1050, which would mean spending $1,050 just to win $100 if she won. It seems likely she’s going to get the big win at SummerSlam in Brooklyn where she and Bayley blew the roof off the building for NXT a year ago.
That leaves the two major championship matches. For the SmackDown bout, Dolph Ziggler is a +330 underdog to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship while Dean Ambrose is the -490 favorite. For Raw’s bout, the odds are very close. Seth Rollins is the -210 favorite to win, but Finn Balor is a +160 underdog, meaning a 100 dollar bet would bring in $160 if he wins the WWE Universal Championship.
The WWE SummerSlam 2016 match odds are available at the 5Dimes online sportsbook as of this report but are subject to change as SummerSlam gets closer. The pay-per-view hits on Sunday, Aug. 21st from Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York.
